  • High-Fin Power Cooling: Tall, densely packed extruded fins move far more heat than small IC sinks, keeping output transistors and IGBT junctions within spec under sustained load.
  • Flat Transistor Contact Face: The machined base is flat and smooth so power transistors, IGBTs and diode modules seat tightly with thermal paste - no air gaps, no hot spots.
  • Precision Mounting Holes: Counterbored clearance holes and tapped positions are drilled to your transistor layout, so devices bolt down square without extra brackets.
  • Natural or Black Anodized: Plain mill finish for lowest cost, or clear/black anodize for corrosion protection and a clean industrial look on amplifiers and inverters.

What Is This Service

These mid-to-large extruded aluminum heat sinks are engineered for real power - output transistors in audio amplifiers, IGBTs in inverters and welders, and switching devices in power supplies. Cut from 6063-T5 extrusion with tall, closely spaced fins, each sink gives the high surface area needed to hold junction temperature down under sustained load, while a flat, machined base seats power devices tightly.

Unlike small passive IC sinks, these power sinks are built around your device layout: counterbored clearance holes for transistor mounting screws, tapped positions for bus bars or PCB standoffs, and a fly-cut base face that mates evenly with thermal grease or insulator pads. We cut, drill and tap standard profiles to your dimensions, or open custom extrusion tooling for production volumes.

Whether you are cooling a few pairs of output transistors in a hi-fi amplifier, a bank of IGBTs in a VFD, or a bridge rectifier in a welding machine, we supply the sink in natural mill finish or clear/black anodized - with dimensional inspection on every batch and material certs, from prototype to 50,000+ pieces per month.

Power Heat Sink Capabilities

Tall-Fin Extrusion

High-aspect-ratio fins maximize convective surface area for forced-air or natural convection cooling of output transistors and IGBTs.

Flat Device Base

Machined base surface ensures a tight, even interface with transistors, insulators and grease - the single biggest factor in low thermal resistance.

Holes & Taps to Your Layout

Drill counterbores for transistor screws, tapped holes for standoffs and bus bars, all positioned to your device drawing.
